The door slammed shut when there was a gust of wind when i realised it wasn’t shut properly – and it wouldn’t shut properly. The latches were not “latching ”!!
When i removed the inner trim i could see the problem – that a small spring had snapped.
To get the size of spring i needed i had to buy a box full of all different sizes to pick out the one i wanted. Guess some of the others will come in handy one day!!
Anyway all went back together ok and door working fine. The main thing was carefully handling the delicate inner trim panel without damaging it.
