Having spent the last 10 days in Wales and traveling down many narrow roads i now realise why our motorhome maker put the aerial in such a strange position. With the aerial angled outwards it gives a first advance sound warning when i am getting too close to the high hedges that grow on each side of the road as the tip of the aerial brushes along the bushes.
