MODS – Truma Water Pistol Connector Switch Mod

I read where someone had done this mod to improve the control of the water pump when filling the water tank from a bucket using a submersible pump attached to a truma pistol connector.
Adding a small switch to the pistol connector to manually switch the pump off when the bucket or container is empty is a good idea as the only other way to pause the flow of water is from the control panel inside the van which is not very practical when standing outside.
A fiddly job with soldering involved but well worth it.
