Under the Peugeot Boxer on the passenger side about level with the fuel cap there is a large vent that causes cold draughts to come up into the cab area. Many motorhomers replace this vent with a blanking plate (see the part no. in the photo) or simply tape over it.
This vent is for the enclosed cab variants of pickups etc – where as motorhomes have a lot of additional built in ventilation – designed not to cause draughts so this large vent under the van is considered excessive by many and not really required.
